The College

COACB, the Official College of Commercial Agents of Barcelona, was founded in 1926. It is a publicly recognised company with its own legal status and falls within the Law on Professional Colleges.

Its main functions include:

  • Protecting and representing the profession and the interests of its members, especially before the authorities.
  • Preparing the profession for society's requirements.
  • Taking part in the creation of rules that affect commercial agents.

Its registered office at Casp 130 street is a eight floors building that also accommodates its training centre, the ESVEN, the "Advanced College of Sales". During 2006, the fourth floor of the building was renovated in order to create offices and meeting rooms for members' customer meetings, showrooms, exhibition rooms etc.
In total, COACB brings together more than 8000 commercial agents while hundreds of companies contact the institution every year, looking for commercial agents to represent their products, because they trust in its guarantees of professional conduct. The institution continuously adapts to changing times in order to offer its members the training, advice and services they need to develop their profession in today's environment.

The scope of the College of Commercial Agents of Barcelona are Barcelona and the Province, (Except Terrassa, Sabadell and Manresa) having branches in:
